Pues nada, tenemos otro tifón acercándose de nuevo a Filipinos. Pobres filipinos  -i-

Por el momento mantiene categoría 4, con vientos de 130Kts y 916 MB

Manila.- Filipinas puso en alerta a sus equipos de emergencia y repartió ayuda de emergencia a las áreas que podrían verse afectadas por el paso de un nuevo tifón, el Lupit, después de que el paso de Parma y Ketsana en las últimas semanas dejara 818 muertos.

El Consejo de Coordinación Nacional de Desastres informó que equipo y personal de rescate, así como alimentos, medicinas, ropas y mantas fueron desplazados a "áreas estratégicas" en las provincias del norte que podrían verse afectadas por el paso del tifón Lupit.

Las autoridades locales advirtieron a la población que se preparen para una evacuación en caso de inundaciones o corrimientos de tierra. La oficina meteorológica informó que Lupit ganó intensidad mientras permanece casi sin variaciones cerca de la costa nororiental filipina, con vientos de 175 kilómetros hora y ráfagas de hasta 210 kilómetros por hora.

Lupit está tomando una dirección similar a la del tifón Parma, que azotó el norte de Filipinas desde el 3 de octubre durante casi una semana, dejando lluvias que provocaron inundaciones masivas y corrimientos de tierra que se cobraron 438 vidas. 51 personas continúan desaparecidas.

Una semana antes, la tormenta Ketsana había causado las peores inundaciones en 40 años en Manila y las áreas colindantes, matando a 380 personas. 37 personas siguen desaparecidas.

Parma y Ketsana dejaron más de ocho millones de afectados y dañaron infraestructuras y tierras cultivables por casi 23 mil millones de pesos (unos 500 millones de dólares).

Esta perdiendo la pared del ojo  -ll-, aunque las condiciones de SST son buenas y la cizalla apenas llega a 10kt  .-b

LUPIT mantiene 85 kts y 959 mb de presion. En las ultimas imganes de sat, parece que este en un ciclo de reemplazo de su eye wall, aunque lo que tambien podria ser que el aire seco en sus cuandrantes occidentales esten interfiriendo en la pared del ojo y que propicien un derrumbamiento de estas. De ser esto ultimo, seria una clara muestra de debilitamiento. De momento las trayectorias lo envian al NE de Luzon, por lo que los Filipinos deberan estar atentos una vez mas ..--b

Viendo la animacion posteada por Deltaforce parece que lo mas logico es pensar en la entrada de aire seco en el ojo de LUPIT  -ll-
